-Tracking, check and control over all welding activities, Heat Treatment and NDT activities within Department Scope of work according to specifications, Quality Control documentation and procedure requirements; -Regular examination and special inspections according to Request for Inspection; -Personnel qualification certification check (welders, inspectors etc); - Gauge and equipment calibration record check; -Visual control and gauge of weld joints; -reading of radiographs; - Control over surface preparation and paint application; - Control over timely preparation of all QC related documentation by Contractors; -Daily work reports to line manager on performed work and non-conformity revealed as per KPBV instructions;

Supervising welding and NDT activities of mainly A335 Grades; P11 (X10CrMo4-5), P22 (X10CrMo9-10), P91 (W10CrMoVNb 9-1) high temperature and pressure piping works. Interpretation of Weld Radiographs and final endorsement of NDT / PWHT reports/charts of Balance of Plant (BOP) contains Feed-Water, High Pressure Steam line and Hot Re-Heat piping works and Heat Recovery System Generator (HRSG) Piping Works. Reviewing Marked up P&ID accordance with test limits, Reviewing Test Packages; weld logs comply with weld nos stated on isometrics, with correct correct material, heat no, size, dia, wall thickness, WPS, correct test limits etc. before hydrotest being conducted, Compilation of documentation & certification and implementing mechanical completion, marking/highlighting master P&ID s for handover documentation.

DURING CONSTRUCTION Generating and reviewing QC Welding / NDT procedures, conducting welder qualification test, issue welder certificates and ID cards, generating pre-WPS and conducting PQR / repair PQR, monitor welding inspections, fit-up control of weld joints before starting welding activity, visual inspection after weld completion, solving welding problems which occurs during fabrication, monitoring welding activities, monitoring & follow-up weekly based welder performance, interpreting RT films of weld joints (more than 1320 meters RT interpretion in last 8 months); Coordinating NDT subcontractor, issue NDT work orders, Providing PTW (Permit to Work) for RT in compliance with Client HSE Regularities and Procedures; Re-organize coordination between job site and NDT subcontractor for Re-Shoot & Repair films to be taken. Ensuring all NDT clearance before hydrotest release of A/G-U/G piping test packages. Qualify welding procedures records and welder qualifications to ASME, BS EN & ISO standards, supported by mechanical testing and to introduce new welding techniques for the manufacturing of stainless steel pressure vessels. Maintain and update the register of company welding procedure qualification records and the welder’s qualification register. Plan and execute the required inspections. Review of quality records, material certification, test reports etc to verify parts and product conformance. Other duties included the introduction of Lean Manufacturing tools & techniques to improve production and reduce waste. To provide solutions that improves manufacturability & quality whilst reducing cost.

PREPERATION BEFORE CONSTRUCTION mobilisation, organisation, material supply, procurement, subcontractor offers evaluation, qa/qc tools procurement (coating, welding, electrical, instrument, survey, mechanical). - Technical survellance on the conduction of Contractor's construction & installation activities -Developing the Method Statement for the activities assigned to Major Works, reviewing the WPS applicable to each specific jobs, material documentation verification prior to usage. -Verify the documentation of all Conractors welders and their ability on work performing, welding qualification test welders as per applicable norms. -Review & approval of Mechanical Completion Package

Welder Pipe material includes cunifer, super duplex, stainless steel and carbon. Structural welding included Flux Core and MMA welding Welding Technician/Coded Pipe Welder- Structural welding included Flux Core and MMA welding Fabrication & welding, and road transport nitrogen tanks taken from engineering drawings. Carbon and stainless TIG pipe welding to ASME standard. Pipes range from 8mm to 6" diameter. Sub-arc welding of stainless steel vessels up to 20mm thick and carbon vessels up to 8mm thick. MMA and MIG welding process used daily. All aspect of welding processes on extensive range of pipe and plate materials
